What's so special about Mustafa in Singapore?
Not only because Mustafa shopping centre is the only shop in town open 24 hours 7 days, but it’s special because behind its huge space of stores with 150,000 sq ft floor area laid a success story of a Singaporean who originated from India with a very humble beginning to be a role model in retail business world.
Once you step on to the Little India - the Indian ethnic enclave especially along Syed Alwi Road, you will see Serangoon Plaza and Mustafa Centre dominating the area with thousands of customers shop there daily.

You will never imagine that the Mustafa Group which led by Mr. Mustaq Ahmad started their business in 1971 from small shop in Campbell Lane - Little India selling ready-made garments.
Today, they sell anything that ever asked by their customers from cloths, shoes, bags, pharmacies, cosmetics, perfumes, toys, accessories, electronics, gold, groceries, sports, souvenirs, computers, etc. You name it…almost everything is there!
Even they have other businesses such as hotel, travel services, and foreign exchange under one roof.
You may find a good deal in Mustafa too!Some of my overseas friends who shopped at Mustafa for electronic & IT gadgets found that prices at Mustafa are slightly lower than other IT Malls in Singapore.
