My Choices of Famous Hawker Centre,
Places Where You Can Find the Best Hawker Food

Visiting famous hawker centre is a must if you want to eat good hawker food.

I am living in the North of Singapore, but I can travel to East or South of the island to find good foods at famous hawker centre.

I think I am not alone! Most of local people here don’t mind to drive several kilometers or to take public transport looking for the best hawker food in Singapore.

That’s why some visitors thought that eating is one of Singaporean’s favorite hobbies to pass time. Actually it’s not a pass time but an enjoyment!

I enjoy eating at the hawker centre especially the famous one. You’ll find not only good food but also people who are queuing for the foods, and some loud conversation in many languages.

I know that I'll miss all these places, the foods, and the people if I have to leave Singapore one day.

Chinatown Complex 11 New Bridge Road	Chinatown MRT Station, exit at Pagoda Street.
Chomp Chomp Food Centre 20 Kensington Park Road Try Satay Beehon, Popiah, and famous BBQ Seafood.	Serangoon MRT Station or Kovan MRT Station, and take taxi from there to Chomp Chomp hawker centre.
East Coast Lagoon Food Village . It can be found inside East Coast Park . 1220 East Coast Parkway Famous foods are BBQ Seafood and Beef Kway Teow. To me, I like to eat Minced Meat Noodle there.	Bedok MRT Station. Bus No.401
Lau Pa Sat Festival Market 18 Raffles Quay/Boon Tat Street This eating place is open for 24 hours. The road surrounding Lau Pa Sat turned to an al-fresco dining style at night. You can find best hawker food here such as the Satay, Dumpling, Chicken Rice, etc.	Raffles Place MRT Station, and then walking toward Cross Street.
Lavender Food Square 380 Jalan Besar Try some exotic foods such as Turtle Soup or Frog Porridge.	Lavender MRT Station or Farrer Park MRT Station Bus No.: 13, 21, 23, 64, 65, 66, 67, 125, 130, 133, 139, 145, 857
Maxwell Road Food Centre The food court is located at the junction of South Bridge Road and Maxwell Road. What to eat here? Try the famous Fish Soup Beehon, Char Siew Rice, and Pork Porridge.	Tanjong Pagar (EW15)or Chinatown (NE4) Bus No: 2, 12, 61, 80, 143, 145, 166, 197, 608, 851, 961
Newton Food Centre This place is most visited by tourist. However, we local still like the foods there such as the Oyster Omelette and the ranges of Malay Food.	Newton MRT Station
Old Airport Cooked Food Centre Block 51, Old Airport Road These are food you can try: Mutton Soup, Hokkien Prawn Mee, Lo Mee, and Otah.	Aljunied MRT Station and walk or take taxi to the food centre.
Tiong Bahru Food Centre Block 2C Kim Pong Road Tiong Bahru hawker centre is my all times favorite place for good food such as the Dough Fritters, Bak Pao, Chwee Kueh, Roasted Pig, and Hokkien Mee.	Tiong Bahru MRT Station, exit at Jalan Membina and walk to Kim Tian Road
