Le Pont De Vie
, housed in a beautifully restored Shop House has two areas, the front part which is more open and brighter fine dining area and a rear area which is much more intimate and features a bar. The food served here is modern European/ Mediterranean with delicious items like black truffle and cheese soufflé, pan seared scallops on char soba noodles, wild mushroom risotto and grilled kurobuta pork cheeks as well as a wide range of delicious deserts. The manager is a well known wine sommelier and so some of the finest French wines are available but for those seeking the unusual, I was amazed to see a selection of boutique Austrian reds are also available. |
