Chinese Garden, Peaceful Green Oasis in the Western Region

If you have perception that Jurong area where the Chinese Garden located is very industrial compare to the other parts of Singapore, you’ll find this image dissipate with the existence of the gardens.

This garden which was built in 1975 is not only an oasis to the residents staying around the area who normally go there for a walk, jog, picnic, practicing Tai-Chi movement, watch turtle and fish, but also much loved by almost everyone including tourist.

We (my hubby and I) have not been there for sometimes until few weeks ago we went there for a walk.

We thought the gardens are getting prettier, well maintained, and amazingly you don’t need to pay a single cent to enjoy the scenery there (in the past, you have to pay S$2.00/ person to enter the Bonsai Garden).

However, you have to buy a ticket to enter the Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum. It’s S$5.00 for adults and S$3.00 for children (3-12 years old).

We recommend you to visit the museum to see extraordinary turtles. You can feed them too.

Let us show you the best spot there...

White Rainbow Bridge” will be the first thing you’ll see when you enter the gardens.

This bridge was built as an interpretation of the Seventeenth Arch Bridge at Summer Palace in Beijing.
